Airport Museum Themes
A prominent sculptural installation runs through the terminal, displaying over 6,000 artefacts sourced from across India. This collection includes architectural features, carts, ritual objects, and everyday items, all representing the country’s vast cultural heritage and craftsmanship.
Situated along passenger walkways, 29 artworks illustrate the evolving nature of Indian cities. These pieces introduce travellers to Mumbai’s urban landscape, highlighting themes of change, memory, and daily life in the city.
Located near the baggage claim area, this exhibit highlights India’s textile heritage through traditional trunks and containers. It provides passengers with a cultural introduction to Mumbai, reflecting the city’s prominent history in the textile trade.

International Departure - T2
Classical artworks from India’s rich cultural heritage are thoughtfully displayed at key loacations within Terminal 2 at international departure area.

Indian artworks are exhibited along the walkways leading to the following boarding gates at the domestic departure area:

Arrival
The ‘Layered Narratives’ artworks, displayed along the Arrival travelators in T2, offer a glimpse into Mumbai's evolving urban landscape. Created by over 25 contemporary Indian artists, these pieces are installed along the side wall next to the travelators in the Arrival corridor of Terminal 2.
