Digi Yatra technology streamlines passenger journey from airport entry to boarding based on facial biometrics. This process significantly reduces processing time for passengers using Digi Yatra. The Digi Yatra facility enables passengers to link their travel and identity documents in advance, creating a facial scan that eliminates the need to show their boarding passes or identity cards at the airport entry, security checks, or boarding.

To register on the Digi Yatra application, please follow these steps:

1. Download the Digi Yatra App : Go to the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS) and download the Digi Yatra app.

2. Registration : Register using your phone number with the OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your phone.

3. Link Aadhaar Credentials : Link your Aadhaar credentials either with Aadhaar or using DigiLocker.

4. DigiLocker Registration : If you haven't already registered on DigiLocker with your Aadhaar ID, complete this step.

5. Validate Identity : Take a selfie and validate it with your Aadhaar ID.

6. Upload Boarding Pass : Before your flight, scan your boarding pass or upload it as an image or PDF.

7. Share Data : After scanning, provide consent to share your credentials and boarding pass data with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) for confirmation.

By following these steps, you'll be successfully registered on the Digi Yatra platform.

Upon arriving at the airport, please follow these steps:

1. Terminal Entry : Enter the terminal through the Digi Yatra gate.

2. Boarding Pass Scan : Have your boarding pass ready for scanning.

3. Facial Recognition :  Look into the biometric system.

4. Validation : Once the system validates your information, you will be granted entry into the airport.

Yes, passengers who have not pre-registered on the Digi Yatra app can register at Gate 2, T2, at the registration kiosk and avail the benefits of Digi Yatra on the day of travel.

Once you arrive at the security check touch point, you will have to use the Biometric System (face pod). The system will validate your travel itinerary. After validation, you will be allowed to proceed for security clearance before boarding the aircraft.

If you need help with the Digi Yatra app registration process or your journey at the airport, Digi Buddies are available at various touchpoints to assist. The Digi Buddies wear reflective jackets with “Digi Buddy” printed on them.

You can avail of a seamless travel experience via Digi Yatra only if you are travelling on a domestic flight from Terminal 2, CSMIA.
